cause when they say it it's either to get sex or because they really feel like that at the time. True love is not the "butterflies in the stomach".

I am a guy. I can give you what the guys are like in general.

1. While girls focus on the "love" and the "relationship", guys focus on "possession of the woman" and many times, sex.

2. Many guys have a view of dating a girl for "one-time-use". He will enjoy love for a short period of time, and then when he gets bored and wants to have another excitement, he moves on. This is especially common to the young guys.

3. maybe Josh and you were not meant to be together. Maybe you and him were too different.

It is the law of the nature, that guys seduce women by skillful tonges. The guys are the "givers" and the women are the "recievers". So in many times, the guys are at the driver's seat.

But please, please do not think all the guys are like the above. I have just mentioned the extreme cases. There are many nice guys are out there...

Sorry about your break up.

Most males who have a long history of breaking off relationships do so because the relationships they were in have served the purpose for which they entered into them. For example, the guy only wanted sex for a while or to be made to feel important for a while. Some stay until changes come about that make them uncomfortable or they meet someone else who will provide more of what they think is important to them or less of what they are unwilling to accept in the first place. It is no reflection on the ex girlfriend, whatsoever. It just happens many times until you find one who loves you and is certain about his own needs, goals and desires in life.

Hi, I am also muslim, I understand your situation, and many of my friends suffer for this situation too. well, to be honest, it's good to be a true lover, but remember, there is also a wisewords from the Prophet, "you may love anything so much, but remember, you can't love it forever, cos many thing will separate you, death to be exact. in Islam, you may interact with different gender as long as you can keep maintaining the relation within the muslim rules, it;s OK. I also did that before with my wife. and you both are allowed to get married soon, when you feel you're both ready for it, both mentally and physically, dont worry about the economy, God will take care that for you. if you get married, you have done half of your entire faith, that worth a lot. after marriage, you can get pregnant in safe manner. but to get pregnant before marriage, it's totally bad in religious vision. dont do that, if God hate you, nothing you can expect from Him anymore, so do it for your God, and people will (sooner or later) will accept you, but dont do it upside down. find the best way to approach your parent to get permission for marriage. marriage in Islam is very simple and recommended. so cheap and easy. because marriage is much better than free sex lifestyfe. take care and good luck

The better question is why doesn't forever ever come?
Forever in modern relationships is a relative term. It doesn't come easily, or cheap. It takes diligance, determination, and dedication. Perhaps if "forever" could speak it would ask why so few really seek it.

I'll tell you that I love you and will stay with you forever if you will sleep with me-just like most guys whoknow that it will work.Of course after you have slept with me a while and someone else comes along I will dump you and try the line on them.

They say it cos they think it's what you want to hear. And they say it for that reason cos it's worked for centuries. They say it to get what they want, whatever it is, and then they move on without so much as a blink of an eye. Most boys/men are swine. They have been raised by swine. sigh. The best revenge is never let him see you sweat..........or cry.....or look sad. EVER.
