I've heard it said "it was her time to go".
Any thoughts?

No. Your life span is almost entirely dependent on your activities and environment. Everything in moderation is probably the best advise. DNA could be a factor if you don't fall in a big hole or get hit by a car.

Yes, there is a predetermined time for each person to die, according to God's specific plan for that person. However, when God created us with free will, He gave us the power to override His plan by placing our own will over His divine will. Therefore, when one person kills another, God's plan for the victim has been destroyed. The killer has determined when another person will die, claiming for himself a power that rightfully beongs to God alone, and thereby overriding God's eternal plan for that person, including the eternally predetermined time of that person's death.

To God it is now, so he knows the time. But, NO, it is NOT predetermined!

Prayer changes things. Human intervention changes things. A drunk crossing the road is not the time the innocent was to die.

I am glad that Grace covers all...

No, I don't believe that at all. What about people with heart disease that get bypass surgery and change the order of events? Should people not do what they can to prolong their lives because it might change the date they are to die in God's book? Not logical.

I think we have a say in it on some level, ever heard of an old married couple dying within a year of each other? i think when you give in and have really had enough your soul accepts the answer and you move on, suppose we will only really know once we move on....

I think that yes, maybe there is. Some people believe that we choose when we will die before we are born again for another life. I don't know. We will find out for sure when it happens. Either way, God has nothing to do with it.

nope..
if some homey walks up and caps you.. then you were robbed.
if you get old and die of natural causes.. then that's when you were "predetermined" to die.. thru genetics/biological life span..

The bible says you can go earlier than your time due to foolishness or lack of wisdom. So yes but your free will can change that.
