would anyone reccommend going there?

I would recommend seeing the sights around there like Ephesis and St. John's Basilica but I was disappointed with it as a resort place. My 5 star resort was what I would have considered a 3 star and the food was horrible. The people weren't to nice either. If you want to go for the history then do it. It you want a nice sunny relaxing holiday then go to Costa del Sol or the Belarics or something like that.

When there is Bodrum or even Antalya, it is a waste of time and money to go to Kusadasi.

yes, why not? kusadasi under Turkey's regime and on the Aegean sea -- is a marvel. check the weather at the time of your trip -- club med used to have a camping ground there..check with them too if still active -- otherwise i am sure you will enjoy your trip -- kus adasi -- translated it means the island of the birds....a paradise on earth...some people like to call it. bon voyage.

I had a bad case of kusadasi once in the navy, but two shots of penicillan cleared it right up....
