Margarine, vegetable oil, peanut butter. But if you are REALLY desperate there is always varsol or paint thinner. It will just dry your skin out really bad. Could try nail polish remover, too.

Try a mineral or vegetable oil -rub this into your hands and rub into the glue in your hair - then wash your hands with soap and your hair with your favorite shampoo. This should take this out of your hair and off of your hands..

Been there, done that. Goo-Gone, the stuff works great, on a lot of things, even fly trap glue. You can purchase Goo-Gone in Walmart, or any major grocery store, drug stores carry it as well.

"You know Manningham's story of the burgher's wife who bade Dick Burbage to her bed after she had seen him in Richard III and how Shakespeare, overhearing, without more ado about nothing, took the cow by the horns and, when Burbage came knocking at the gate, answered from the capon's blankets: William the Conqueror came before Richard III." (Ulysses by James Joyce)

many glues are soluble in solvents like gasoline or kerosene. that's maybe not great for your hair or skin, though, so try rubbing alcohol. it's a solvent, but less intense.
