They are caught up in what is socially acceptable and refuse to explore the real history of the Bible and ancient paganism.

The Wiccans (mostly women) that I have met are very nice.

Christians have difficulty accepting Wiccans because in the Bible there is a prohibition against witchcraft. I have tried to learn about Wicca and I find that there are many types of beliefs.

So far as I know Wiccans believe in the dual nature of the Lord/Lady deity. Perhaps this is why they revere sexual liasons. I really am not sure. Christians believe that sex should be within marriage and monogamous between husband and wife. Christians do sometimes have premarital or extramarital affairs but this is considered sinful.

Wiccans freely call upon the powers of the east, south, west and north when forming their circle of salt. Christians believe that such powers and principalities are the fallen angels and are evil.

I saw one circle a while ago and I asked the people what they had chanted. They said they did not know. Personally, I would never say something that I did not know what I was saying. It is possible that they knew what they were saying but did not want to tell me. The powers that they hailed were Azarak, Zomelak, Cerunnos, Aradia and others which I have forgotten. I tried to look these up on the internet. This is what I found on the internet:

"Eko, eko, Azarak Eko, eko, Zomelak Bazabi lacha bachabe Lamac cahi achababe Karrellyos Lamac lamac Bachalyas cabahagy sabalyos Baryolos Lagoz atha cabyolas Samahac atha famolas Hurrahya!"

What does this mean? Do people who practice Wicca know what it means and just do not tell outsiders?

it somewhat is an entire and finished mess of a query. i do no longer even understand the place to start. this is obvious you do no longer understand what the two Wicca or Satanism are and out of your further information this is sparkling you're making use of the word "magick" incorrect. *sigh* - i'm Wiccan, I accept as true with the somewhat some ideals of LaVeyan Satanists. i will get at the back of the somewhat some issues in the 9 Satanic Statements and the 11 Satanic regulations of the Earth. i do no longer accept as true with all of them. I easily tend to get alongside discover with Satanists i've got commonplace. i'm much less probable to accept as true with the philosophy of classic Satanism (or Theistic Satanism). it somewhat is a thoroughly diverse perception device from that of my own. even though it somewhat relies upon on the particular individual as there are multiple diverse philosophies between classic Satanists. who's have been given extra advantageous "magick"? i'm no longer even going to dignify that with a reaction. examine a e book, please. edit - oh heavily, you probably did no longer only knock Frau Hunter? She's given you the terrific answer so far (and in all probability the nicest).

Because you are trying to insist that a monotheistic religion is ever going to accept you. It won't happen. Stop trying. Baphomat was demonized long ago. He even looks like Satan. To narrow minded people, if it looks like what they were told is a duck, its most undeniably a duck! You are a Satanist. Stop worrying about it. On the bright side, I know you are not a Satanist.
I'm an Atheist so I think you are both wrong (lol).
But I like Pagans a little better as a whole over Christians. Pagans seem less hypocritical in my OPINION < caveat noted.

The Bible uses this old word "divination" as a general term for witchcraft. Magic is condemned by the Bible and so Christians remain closed-minded about what Wiccans believe about their form of paganism. They know it's contrary to the Bible and that's the end of the conversation before one ever begins. It isn't uncommon for Christians to be unable to stick to what they hold as non-negotiable ideas, while being open-minded enough to engage other people, find common ground and build upon it. They are called to be bridge-builders by their own book (II Cor. 5:20) but cannot fulfill the mission because they can't even talk with people, or try to but can't speak anything other than religiously laced language.

I am a Christian, and I practice Wicca. The two are completely compatible, and have nothing at all to do with satanism. I find that one discipline -my belief in Christ and His teachings- meshes with and augments the other -Wicca. I believe, as do others I have spoken with, that it is a Blessing to be able to work with nature as a Witch or Wizard in a way that makes us adhere to the words: "Do what thou will; harm none." It is basically the Golden Rule, isn't it? We greet each other with a heartfelt "Blessed Be", and we never refuse aid when it is requested, for if we do, aid would be refused us if we needed it. I believe Christ intended all of us to live in a closer harmony with nature than we do. In the Gospel of St. Thomas, Christ says that his mansions are not built of wood or stone...and in the bible Christ tells us that wherever two or more of you gather in my name, that is the Church. Also, in the Gospel of Thomas, He tells us that if we split a piece of wood or lifted up a stone, there He would be. Turning water into wine, walking on water...If we followed Christ's path exactly, He promises us that we could be as He is. He wanted us to be priests and His priests were in tune with nature as are Wiccans. We are for the Earth and for Life, where as Satan is all about destruction and chaos. So, anyway, have a great day, all. Oh, and please, let's not confuse Christian with Catholic. There is a HUGE difference in doctrine and practice between the two!

we don't really think your satanists, but our bible says that spells and things like that are really bad not saying you guys are bad just what you practice is. you should go to a christian church and talk to a pastor on the subject, they are very wise just don't pick an old fashioned church with only older people pick one with young people because they usually have more open minds and will gladly answer your questions.

You're pushing your luck, friend - most Christians won't even accept other Christians... just try to get some Protestants and Catholics to agree about the need for a Pope to see what I mean.

I know you are not satanists.

If you are not for us, you are against us.

Dear children, don't let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it is because they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows they belong to the Devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the Devil.
Those who have been born into God's family do not sin, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they have been born of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the Devil. Anyone who does not obey God's commands and does not love other Christians does not belong to God.
