I need to gain weight. Not on purpose, I had eaten 16 ferrero rochers, 24 i love milka chocolate and 12 kitkats within a weekend! Help. I'm too thin that I dont look good.
Another problem maybe its because of my weak body but my face has a pale sheen to it. You know those kind of look that says " I'm sick and ill. " Its too fair to be fair! And my friends say if you get rid of that colour in your face you look fine even with ur body size. because they had seen ppl like that before just that they dont have that sheen and they look ok :)

Hey, I'm a personal trainer, and may have some good advice for you. First, I just want to point out that eating lots of chocolate will not help you to gain weight. It has nothing to do with the amount of fat or calories in what you eat...you obviously have a very high metabolism and burn a lot of calories. And the reason for the unhealthy look that you have, may be because you are not eating healthy. You are not getting the vitamens and nutrients that your body needs to function every day. You can have chocolate, but I would really advice to not eat as much as you described, it really is not healthy at all. Maybe that doesn't show on the outside, but it sure is not good for the inside. Protein bars will be a great substitute for you, they are a nice sweet chocolate treat, but with all the vitamens that your body needs. Chocolate can't give you that. And that can also explain why your body is so weak. You are only feeding it sugar. Carbs and sugar are the first thing your body burns off, and after that is gone....what is left? Nothing. So after eating some chocolate or something sugary, you might feel a slight increase in energy, but that does not last long, and as soon as it has worn off, the low makes you feel very weak and exhausted.
I think my advice could be a lot more helpful if I knew what exactly it is that you eat, but I'll give you a few pointers. You should be eating small meals every 3-4 hours. For example, cereal or eggs and toast for breakfast (they both have protein and carbs) and orange juice; 3 hours later, maybe some kind of protein bar...and there are some really good ones, you just have to try different ones- Luna is a very good brand for women and powerbar; for lunch, some kind of meat like grilled chicken and salad, or even a sandwich- ham, turkey, chicken; then another snack...maybe some kind of fruit; and dinner, again meat with veggies and some kind of carb. like pasta, noodles, or rice. And most importanly, drink lots of water. All I drink is a glass of OJ for breakfast, and the rest of the day water. As boring as it sounds, you get used to it, and you will feel and look much healthier.
You don't have to be worried about the fat or calories. You need to focus on eating good food regularly. The protein bars will help give you extra vitamens that you need. The best thing for you to do, will be to see your physician, and I am sure he will tell you something similar to what I have said. I really don't think you need to take pills or anything, you need to learn how to eat right. And remember, you are young and still developing. It would be a very bad idea to take any type of weight gainers at this age.
I hope I was of some help, if you have any more specific questions about how to eat better, feel free to ask!

Hi,
I assume you are a student.. what you need is probablly a detox diet to bring some balance back to your health.
A detox diet will help you:
- get rid of the excess oil on your face
- bring colour back to your face
- help you put on weight
My friend had a similar problem.. small sized and very thin and alot of oil and pimples on her face. After the detox diet, she gained 4kg in 3 mths and her pimples also got better :)

Years past I too was EXTREMELY thin, and tried everything to gain weight. I even drank weight gain shakes several times a day. To no avail.
What I finally learned however when studying nutrition was, you need to have plenty of protein in order to gain the weight you are attempting to gain.
Try eating foods high in protien, as well as the foods high in calories.
This finally worked for me. Good luck to you.

Try eating a lot of green and bright vegetables. And to gain weight, stay away from the sugar! Only have it once in a while. This will only bring up your sugar level, which in the long run can make you diabetic.
Try eating naturally fatty foods. Oatmeal, nuts and seeds are great!

I had this same problem when I was in highschool. My dad offered me $100 if I could break 100 lbs. (1970's) My 15 year reunion I had 2 children and looked fantastic. Wish I still had that figure. Try exercising to build muscle not put on fat.
