i am 14 "AND ITS NOT TOO EARLY" i wanted to become an Air Force or Navy Fighter Pilot but about 2 month ago i changed my mind and now i want to be a Pararescue Jumper "PJ" my dad doesnt know and keeps showing me all this shows with airforce which i enjoy allot but still i feel kinda guilty and i figured if i cant sit still in class for 95 min i cant sit in a jet for 3 hours and yea i run cross country and like sports so i figured that job fits me better anyways should i tell him because what i am mostly afraid of that they wont want to me to there in the future and do right NOW everything to prevent me from going

You and just you must choose what you have to do in your life.The others,parents above all,can advise you and you have to listen,but the final decision must be yours.Be aware that such a choise is something important so spend some time on it.Don't do like me.I made some mistakes in my life that now I am paying a lot.

Its YOUR life, not his. Could you gently say that you are exploring as many options as you find out about as you have time still to find the right path for you. Any parent who loves you is trying to be helpful but sometimes we get carried away and stop listening.(Hazard of the job!!) You're ok - keep going!

i know what you mean. i haven't told my parents what i want to do in the future yet. i wanna be a flight attendant and later when i'm ready i'd like to be a pilot. but since they don't know they keep on suggesting different jobs and colleges. so i keep nodding my head and going on with it. i think you should tell your dad and get it over with.
