Your best bet if you want a coconut oil for cooking (I know you said you don't use coconut oil, but I don't know much about cooking with the juice) is to get a really good unprocessed extra virgin coconut oil. It's supposed to have many health benefits. I use the Tropical Traditions Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Little pricey but they have sales sometimes. It has a wonderful coconut aroma and is great for cooking. If you to to www.tropicaltraditions.com , they have lots of info on the latest studies relating to coconut oil and health. According to the latest, if you use the regular refined coconut oil, then it IS bad for you. The refining process really changes the nature of the oil. The unrefined oil is a whole lot better for your health.

Olive oil is great. But you doctor is wrong. Try good, non-pressed organic coconut oil. This has been known to help lower blood pressure and cholestrol. Don't buy the crappy coconut oil that smells funny and is not natural or has been overly processed.

Yes, you're off to a good start. The first step is deciding that you want to change, so good for you. You need to concentrate on burning off the fat. You don't do this by starving yourself - you need a balanced diet to keep your body running. You have to commit to lots of exercise. Try walking instead driving somewhere. Take up some sport. The gym will help also. It's going to take some time. Meanwhile, begin switching your diet. Avoid junk foods, starches and calories. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Eat moderate portions of meats and fish. I'm sure you will get lots of other advice. Good luck.

If doctors tell you dont use ANY coconut then dont use any at all.
I would strongly advise you to start using the diet that the doctor gave you upon leaving his/her office.
You should follow that before you die of a heartattck.
This is nothing to mess with.
You should start eating nothing but BAKED fish/chicken.
Very little red meat.
Do not fry anything at all.
Do not eat cheese its very high in fat.
