First, how is it prepared? My version of cooking live lobster follows:
In a stock pot pour a full gallon of any red wine
Add 1 pound of butter
Over a slow heat melt butter
When the pot has both the melted butter and is warm-not HOT place live lobster in so that it is submerged
The lobster will not tense up and the meat will be tender instead of tough
Serve over a bed of brown rice with carrots or asparagus

Now to eat:
Use a nut cracker to crack the shell of the claws
Meat should come out clean
The legs are good but usually sucked from the point of separation
As for the tail, start from the head area and snip with cutters down the center to the end of the tail
Most people like to soak the meat in butter, but if this is cooked this way there is no reason to overload your arteries

Eat well and enjoy these types of rare treats
