go to west hollywood. that's the gay ghetto of la. there's a bunch of bars and clubs there, and thousands of gay guys of all ages and races walking around every weekend. many of them are very superficial and snobby, but if you are gay, you are probably used to guys like that. you will definitely find lots of hotties in west hollywood, but ou may have trouble finding a nice guy. no matter what type of guys you prefer, you will probably see them there. there are a few 18 and over clubs. rage is the best. it's always packed on the weekends. just dress nice but casual, and don't expect the guys there to be very down to earth or friendly, and you will have fun.
