is there any way to take back the bid i did on an item? I didn't notice that the shipping wasn't in dollars....

Yes.. you can contact ebay and give them your reference number and the reference number of the item being purchased and explain that the price was not given in dollars, etc.very easy

It's better that you don't, because they report it to ebay, that's why most ads say read before bidding, this has happened to me before and I had to buy the item, where I didn't' pay attention about the shipping charges and it was too much,was stuck with buying it, seller has to pay re-listing fees. Ask seller this question, or ask if the shipping can be in US currency, they might say yes.

Yes you can retract the bid. You need to contact e-bay and let them know your situation. Their turn around time is very quick. There are special circumstances where ebay will retract it without any consiquences.
