He is truly an ignorant man if he doesn't know he will soon be dealing with a pregnant cat and her litter of kittens. She has to be spayed to prevent that happening and to stop her squawking outside all night.
I hope you can diplomatically inform him of this fact and have him call 1-800-spayUSA for a low-cost spay/neuter clinic in your area.

I'm not an expert but I suppose if you have a little patience, the heat period will run its course and the cat will settle down again until the next time. Meantime, the cat doesn't represent any danger or personal interest to your family, so next time that the sound is heard, say, "It's just that poor cat." and ignore it and go to sleep.

Tell your owner to SPAY his cat....this will stop her from going into heat and stop her yowling so you and your family can get a good nights sleep. If he truely does not know how to keep his cat from going into heat...he probably should not OWN a cat!!

subjest to your neighbor nicely to have the cat spayed, as they catawahl when in heed to call out and let the male cats know that she is available and ready to concieve, producing unwanted kittens. as that's what they do to look for a mate.

First I would suggest to your neighbor that it would be a kindness to the cat and everyone involved if he had her spayed.(Unless he wants a house full of kittens)
A water gun also helps to spray them when they start in but you have to see them to do it.lol
