20/100 means that when you stand 20 feet from the eye chart you can see what a normal person standing 100 feet away can see.

The nurse had him look at an eye chart. I don't see why you should not trust the nurse. The test is simple to perform. Take him to the doctor to get it confirmed and corrected.(and just to make sure nothing else is going on, but don't get all worked up about it) Will make his life easier.

You son could need glasses. The school nurse can't help him with his vision, all she can do is evaluate it and let you know if she thinks he should have follow up care from a doctor. I'd make an appointment with your eye doctor and have it checked. That way, you'll be safe! Good luck!

If it's right, your child is nearsighted. The nurse probably had your kid look at an eye chart and said, OK, which line can you see? Get your kid's eyes tested. Kids with eye problems often have trouble seeing the chalkboard or reading or looking at the computer (nearsightedness could definitely cause headaches if you're trying to concentrate on something.) Get your kid's eyes tested.

A catholic preparation is held to be a solid preparation, in many peoples view. the college can not make your daughter do something which you by way of fact the mothers and dads at the instant are not happy with (ie recieve communion, baptim etc). she would be taucht uncomplicated christan concepts - to love and appreciate one yet another and each others sources, that mendacity is incorrect, (i'm specific you have got been advised each of something) - how is that faulty? i've got faith that maximum christians are extra effective people, by way of instructions in the catholic college. If she is making a music songs, then she is satisfied. you comprehend your toddler, if she became not satisfied could she sing? and what's incorrect with asserting a prayer? it in basic terms has an bring about case you think thhat there is somebody / element there to respond to the prayer / chat - in case you do not element that there is something there, then she is in basic terms chatting together with her self. not all cathholics abuse babies - there is stable and undesirable in everyone, that's in basic terms that the information papers consistently positioned the "huge " headlines of 'Catholic Priest.....' yet there are consistently different abuse memories, yet they are not getting the information coverage. sure i'm a catholic by using beginning, and now a lapsed catholic by using choise. i did bypass to a catholic college, and likewise went to different golf equipment like muffins, the place i blended with all varieties of people, and the youngsters with a christian up bringing have been kinder, nicer people. not all will agree, yet those are my experiances.

That's actually really good vision. 20/20 indicates that a person can see perfectly from 20 meters away, 20/100 would mean that your kid can see what most people see at 20 meters distance at 100 meters away. If his vision was bad, it would be measured in the negatives (like my eyes, one's -3.5 and one's-2.25)
oops I mean feet, not meters

School nurses are school nurses for a reason... it's because they aren't real nurses.... so, take him into an optomitrist and get a real diagnosis.

I was diagnosed with severe hyperopia (far-sightedness) at the age of 21 months old. When I looked to mom and said "mommy" she cried. PLEASE go to a doctor for it.
