The tribulation is God's final attempt to get people to acknowledge Him. It is His righteous wrath that He sends to an unbelieving world. I Thessalonians 1:10 tells us, "...and to wait for his Son whom he raised from the dead to come back from heaven. This Jesus is the one who rescues us from the coming wrath."
We also see a picture of the rapture with Noah and the flood, "...and if he did not spare the ancient world but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others when he brought the flood on the world of ungodly people..." (II Peter 2:5)
And
"...then the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials and to hold unrighteous people for punishment on the day of judgment..." (II Peter 2:9)
Therefore, God's people, whom He purchased with His own blood will be spared from the wrath to come.

That verse doesn't prove what you think it does. Christians could already be gone when that occurs. The fact is that we can pull out verses to support all the different theories about when the Rapture of the church will occur. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter, and that's probably why God didn't spell it out more clearly. He doesn't want us to know, but to live as if the end could come at any time.
Some believe the church will be raptured earlier because the Holy Spirit is going to be withdrawn from the earth and since the Spirit indwells believers and was given to Christians when Christ left the earth, the presumption is that when the Spirit goes, we will be going too. Others refer to how the Children of Israel were protected during the plagues of Egypt but were not taken out of Egypt altogether and presume that God will protect the church from the Tribulation without removing the church.
It doesn't really matter. History shows us that things can become very terrible for Christians and it not actually be the "Tribulation" talked about in Scripture. Surely those Christians who had their heads cut off or were stoned or were burned alive suffered great tribulation even though it wasn't actually the last days. My point is that we can suffer as a part of God's plan. We are not promised lives of ease or comfort, whether we are around for the Great Tribulation or removed before it comes full force.
Don't spend too much time arguing over this or other things that have little bearing on who we are told to be or what we are told to do.

Nowhere in Revelation does it say that the Seventh Trumpet sounding in Revelation 11:15 is the Last Trumpet mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:52 God is going to keep us from the time of Judgment upon the earth if we are faithful. Revelation 3:10; Matthew 24:36-44

I wish more people would actually read the bible and stop believing what some theologians tell them to believe. The bible never tells us that we will be "raptured" before the tribulation starts. People read books like Left Behind and believe it without research. It's fiction. We are told we'll be saved from the final wrath, but that doesn't happen until after the tribulation. If we'd all get raptured away, who exactly would be getting their heads lopped off? It plainly states it will be believers getting their heads lopped off. It will not be like the fictional Left Behind books, it will be even worse. Read the bible for yourselves, don't blindly follow incorrect interpretations by supposed scholars. Those "scholars" are giving us nothing more than their own theories, many of which are simply wishful thinking, like the pre-trib rapture theory.

You are looking at scriptues, that pertains to after the rapture, The Bride will be in heaven At the marriage supper, while down here on earth you will have 2 Prophets to Israel, prophecing for 1260 days, Then the anti-christ (POPE) will have those 2 killed, They will lay in the street for 31/2 days, Then God bring them back to life & tells them to come up hither, Then we see the Great tribualation sit in for 1260 days, You are looking at Jews & foolish Virgins being Killed, Not THE BRIDE.

It is really intersting to me that in the bible there are verses upon verses dealing with the issue of the second coming of Jesus Christ which ends the the world as we know it and brings about the eternal kindgom of God but some Christians and i do not mean to offend, base the theology off the rapture on one parable the Jesus told which was clearly metaphorical in nature. I think the time is come for us as Christians to be deligent and study the bible. Jesus himself warned that in the last days there would be many false Christ and false prophets bringing flase doctrines that would decieve many. Lets build our faith on the bible and the bible alone. Sola scriptura Sola Gracia.

Depends on whether you subscribe to Pre-, Mid-, or Post-Tribulation Rapture. There's scriptural backing for each, depending on your interpretation.
What matters is the fact that we will be gathered together with Him in the sky. He will appear, with the shout of the trumpet.
