Skinny does not equal pretty. I've seen many unattractive skinny women. Some heavy women are also good looking, but sadly their extra weight distracts from their basic attractiveness.
Weight and attractiveness don't really correlate.
There are also many unattractive skinny men and unattractive overweight men.
Only vain and shallow people would automatically think skinny=attractiveness

I don't think anybody should judge a person by what they look like on the outside. I think you could be any size and still be a beautiful person. However, I am concerned about the girls who try to be skinny because they think that is the definition of pretty.

depends on the kind of skinny. and the girl, really. skinny looks good on people made to carry it off, but if you are made to be heavier (you have bigger bones, wider hips and broader shoulders) it really just looks pathetic. also, you have to look at how the person takes care of themselves. is the person well groomed, well dressed and confident? a heavier person with those characteristics will always be more attractive that a skinny skank. it's a law of nature. i have to tell you i looked awful when i was skinny, i still don't look all that great now because the damage being thin did to me. i've put on some weight (about 15 lbs) since the pic on my profile was taken, but it will take probably years for what my illness did to me to correct itself. take care of yourself and that will be all that matters. and taking care of yourself means that not only do you prevent yourself from being too skinny, you prevent yourself from being overweight as well. because any weight extreme is unnattractive.

Certainly not. I am a guy and I am not turned on by girls who are too skinny. Skinny girls don't have very feminine shapes so I really don't know why being skinny should be ideal. Maybe it's more among the girls themselves...

No way! A heavier girl could definetly be pretty. My friend is very pretty and she's a size 18! She has a very curvy body and very sexy. She has a beautiful face and a great smile. Plus she's a lot of fun. Some women are

No they are the anorexic ones, the stick figures, twigs and they can blow away with a small gust of wind. There are all kinds of beauty and it depends on each person's preference. But no skinny girls are not the definition of pretty.

No, not all 'skinny girls' are attractive and inversely not all 'larger girls' are unattractive. In fact, in some places in the world plump girls are considered far more attractive.
There are even some men who try to fatten up their women.

I'm one of the skinnier girls in my class, yes. But a few of my friends are kinda sorta overweight and two of them are gorgeous. Besides, us skinny ones will neva have curves like Queen Latifa now will we? nope.

Certainly not. Some are so conceited that it takes away from their real beings. Perhaps it's a misconception but people, not just females, who are comfortable with their defects are far more attractive than others who think that their poo don't stink.
