Did you proof read your question before posting it ? There seems to be a lot left out. Do religious people kill WHO ? I'm not religious myself, but still fair is fair.
If you're talking about war time, I fought shoulder to shoulder with some very religious buddies. So far as I could determine nobody, the religious ones nor the non-religious ones, had any feeling of controlling anybody or any thing. We had a job to do, and we did it.
" Ignore the faces of the enemy " . What does that mean? Do you think soldiers should stop and examine or admire the faces of those killed. The Germans sure were ignoring our faces. Mostly, we were covered with mud and blood, and had two or three week beards, so we were easy to ignore.
If you think that soldiers should take time to admire the faces of the fallen, boy! I'm sure glad you weren't in my outfit.

they kill because a different belief system has something they want and since they have the attitude " my religious belief system is the only one that is right and I know what is best for everyone then I am going to take what you have in return for me saving you from damnation and I don't care about your free will and rights as a fellow human being. "

Capital Punishment is not killing. You are blurring the line of between Justice and murderers. You lose control of society if you ignore God's Laws not the other way around.
