Yes of course, but leave it to cool down before putting it into the freezer. This is very important to avoid FOOD POISONING.
What you may consider is to put the gravy in an ice cube box and once it freezes put the ice cubes in a plastic bag and leave in the freezer. The benefit of this is that you will be able to use as much gravy as you like and on different occasions (the longer you leave it in the freezer the more it becomes good because it ferments). Whereas if you just freeze the liquid you will only be able to use it once (after you defreeze you cannot re-freeze - remember food poisoning).

Put the leftover gravy in an icetray and freeze then remove the frozen ice cubes of gravy and put them in a ziplock bag; for quick gravy just nuke a cube for 30 seconds, or reheat slowly or add to soup and stews as thickener or flavoring. You can make gravy in 5 mins so why bother? well you might not be there to make it.A friend may need some gravy and BOOM instant gravy, not as good a fresh but passable right? LOL!

the Best answer it totally wrong . There is no reason to let food cool before putting in freezer . This was done in the old days before electric refridgerators when ice boxes used ice ,of course putting something in hot made your ice melt so was discouraged .
Gravy stored in the freezer does NOT get better the longer it is stored . Also fermentation cant take place at freezing temps (science 2 nd grade )
Gravy made with flour freezes and keeps the best .

Of course you can. Cool it off first, then put it in some kind of tupperware. Make sure you label each one as you don't want to take out the mushroom gravy instead of the country gravy. The same thing applies to any kind of tomatoe sauce.

Yes no problem since more than50% is water, the problem comes when you have a very high fat content. even then with the modern freezer running at -18°c that should be no problem either.
enjoy, I hope your gravy is good enough to enjoy again.
