It's not discrimination to say that a place is better than another one!

Why the link? Have a look closer and you will understand!

I think that Thai people are the only ones in the world to be so friendly, and it might also be because of Thai buddhism, so that's why I don't think Filipinos could be so friendly...

Thai never are agressive, but I read story saying that Filipinos are.

So what? Nobody can give objective point of view?

People in the Philippines are more friendlier and hospitable as well. People do speak and understand English. So English language is not a problem in communication tourist or people there compare to thailand.

I am Filipino and I live in Thailand. So I know what I will say mister(this is very Thai).

Thais are no friendlier than Filipinos. Beneath the friendly smiles are vindictiveness lurking ready to explode.

If you are in The Philippines and you are westerner, you are worshipped. Here in Thailand, there are some slight racism towards westerners they called Farang. You won't see it if you just hang out in Patpong or smoke opium in Pai.

The Buddhism they practive is actually more animism. I know more about the Buddhist Philosopies than a typical Thai.

Filipinos can get quite irritably sanctimonious with their Catholic faith.

Roads and Taxis are much better than Philippines.
Rural reas in Thailand are much developed than Philippines
Food is more palatable here in Thailand and they more creative with their cuisine.

Thais are more enterprising than Filipinos. But Filipinos are more artistic.

For people in remote areas: Thais are more alcoholic than Pinoys.

Policemen: Both can be bribed but Thai police are more visible in doing their job. You see them everywhere with their tools. In the Philippines, the security force was privatized, that's why we have security guards in Starbucks and 7/11

Beaches: Philippines by far. (I probably shouldn't say this) So we keep it to ourselves.

In economics both countries have similar level on economic status but in culture/values and education, Philippines is on the top compare to Thailand. Ratio: 10 : 1 for Phil - Thai , educators

I live in Thailand and have visited the Philippines several times. I would say that people in both countries are agreeable, but for sheer warmth of spirit, it is hard to beat the Philippines.

Food: Thailand has Philippines beat hands down, IMHO. I think Thai food is wonderful and filipino food is barely edible. Again, just my opinion, but I have talked to fellow expats who agree.

Girls: That's tough. They are basically ethnic Malay in both countries and therefore quite beautiful. I'd probably give a *slight* edge to the Philippines, though - mainly because the girls are oh so sweet.

Beaches: I'd give Philippines a slight edge here too. Especially Palawan, some of the most spectacular I have ever seen and fewer of them are overdeveloped, as in Thailand. Thailand's best beaches compare favorably with many in Philippines though.

I'm Thai who lives in The Philippines. I'm not biased.

I don't agree that Filipinos are more friendlier than Thais....Why? I've always experienced a lot of Filipinos think they are better than others which is very rare in Thailand.

Since I've a similar look as Filipinos. I used to be looked down by Filipino by there eyes. There're many accidents that I feel disrespected by Pinoy.

One day, I was going up to my condo unit where I leave. I felt a woman looking on my from my head to my feet.

If she were to do like this in Thailand. That Filipina might get in trouble since our "Don't" not to stare on people's eyes.

What I've really thought about is....Don't they think it's a lack of manner to look at the people like that.

She looked at me like "The person like me can afford to live in this condominium? Since she doesn't know I'm Thai not a Pinoy...

I would like to say "Excuse me....your one day salary is just the budget to buy my dog's food"

Give you one more incident.....Wherever you go, wherever you are....the people in front of you would feel scary the people behind her. (Usually, this always happens to only woman..) might rob or snatch her back... but I never experienced this in my country. Nobody worries about snatching much like in The Philippines.

Imagine, you're walking along the street and a woman in front of you behave like you're going to snatch her bag...What do you think as if you're a foreigner. For me, I feel disrespected. and in Thailand if you behave like the Filipinos do worrying the people behind you snatching your bag. You might be reported to the police for the allegation of contempt....sorry If I've an English error...since my country has my own language and we've never been under by the The Western Nation nor relied our lives on English.....

How come you say that about Pinoys have you meet some Filipino? Pinoys are very friendly compare Thailanders.. I live here in Thailand for 3 years now and i see that Thai people are not that friendly specially for Asian woman unlike in the Philippines.

Taxi? well yes they have some issue in the Philippines
But not only in Philippines here in Thailand have that too.. Have you been in Koh Samui? if you been there you know what I'm talking about...

Food? I don't like it, i got ulcer on there food here in Thailand and they are the same taste..I Still like Filipino food..

Girls? Filipina are more sweet and honest to there love one they gonna stick on you for better or for worse.. unlike here in Thailand girls very aggressive they can have 2 lover at the time and when you get sick or no more money they gonna live you... (It happen to my 5 friends who have Thai girls. I feel sorry for them) anyway..

Beaches? Philippines have the world beautiful beaches.. Come Visit Philippines to see your self..

For people, Filipino can speak English better than Thai

For girl, Filipino girls quite stick in their traditional but Thai girls, for some still stick in their traditional also but some already change her mind to Western traditional..don't care much in sex, twice marriage.

For food, Thai food look more delicious than Filipino food and the taste is better...for my thought

For beach, I like thailand more than Philippine.

filipinos are friendly in nature...very hospitable....they have their own language but still they are the best and the most respective professionals all over the world...why? because they speak better english than thailander do....that is why most engineers, nurses, enterpreneurs and other professionals are came from the philippines...

please do not compare notes....

by the way...im a thailander....but i study in the philippines....and i love philippines more than thaland..
