Yes, this would be aa better place without religion.

Religion is the most useless aspect of any culture. All it does is promote ignorance and hatred towards others. Religion has never contributed anything positive, and should be abolished from the world. Its time for mankind to start thinking for themselves, and to stop being led around like sheep by the imaginary words of an imaginary thing.

Religion is like an over looking thing. The world is already not a good place to live. With all the laws and there are still violators. What if there's no religion controlling people? I would say this place will become hell

Bankrupt argument- religion causes war death misery, atheism causes war death misery (think USSR for a start).

Basically humans, whatever we believe cause ourselves war death and misery. We're sinful, we're flawed, we're foolish. Why not ban us from heaven?!

no ,cuz people in need of some sortof belief system would create something else.
All worship the mystic toliet roll!.... by day it slowly shrinks, and over night it is reborn into a new roll!....on the 8th day it multiplies

The holy toliet roll, the spirit of the puppy dog

Perhaps a Paul Daniel's figure or some magician type could charm us.

Myself i prefer to believe, that we are born, live and simply die. But maybe thats not good enough for human's as we think we are so special and important that we deserve to live on beyond our physical form.

Lol* Ya know, in many countries in the past religions were banned...or at least controlled. Freedom of religion is what America was founded on. I don't know what the solution is to the way people get so violent. I mean, I don't get why people get so upset when others don't agree with them. Lol* I enjoy religion and hearing all the differences in what others believe.

Personally, I think it would be better off without religions. It's the differences of religions that causes all the problems.

Religion springs up naturally, like our immune system. I think it´s an antidepressant. Eventually it grows and like everything big, becomes contradictory and scary. If you ban it it will come back like a weed. People need morals, otherwise we tend to turn into monsters. Somehow, you and me can live fine without it, but when it´s everyone it doesn´t work.

I'm an atheist. I have no problems in what I do unless they breach a moral code, set down by government and personal ideologies. I am not hampered by idiotic religious rules that tell me to kill x, y & z for being different. So yes. We'd be far better if we realised this is one planet, we are all human, and please, let's just get on.

the better place would be the EARTH. Because all that are good today has no value if there is no or not any bad things around.

Each Bad thing highlight a good thing and vice versa

Religion is an important aspect of the world, so I wouldn't condemn it completely. However, extremist and fundamentalist religion (which is based almost entirely on ignorance) does more harm than good. Unfortunately, these forms (like Islamic terrorists) often overshadow true believers and give all religion a bad name and a bad image.
