well Where do you want him to be. Everyone dies, some young and some old, but we all die.
We assume that infants and children go to be with God as they have not reached an age of understanding of sin. But like it or not we are all headed down the same path of death..

You assume infants and children are innocent. Infants and children are evil and guilty just like adults. The only difference is some of them don't know what sin is yet. Unintentional sin is still sin. The punishment for sin is death whether you are an infant, a child or an adult. God is the Lover first and then the Punisher second of all humanity.

When he originally created the world, he created all things good. He created people, however, with the freedom to choose. This includes the freedom to make right and wrong choices. Often those wrong choices bring about consequences that end up hurting ourselves or other people, sometimes innocent victims who didn't deserve it.God could intervene and control everything about our lives--the good and the bad--but then we would merely be robots and not truly free. He could even force us to love him if he wanted, but then forced love isn't true love. He gives us the freedom to choose or not to choose him, the freedom to live and enjoy life, and the freedom to make right and wrong choices. Unfortunately, we are left to deal with the consequences of our own and other people's actions.the God of love is also a God of justice. For all those who make wrong choices, hurt innocent victims, and get off scot-free, a time is coming when they will face the consequences of their actions. God is the Ultimate Judge, and in due season, God will judge everyone, both good and bad, for all their deeds. "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account" (Hebrews 4:13).God often uses the trials of life for a greater good, often to develop our character and make us better people.God has provided a way out. A time is coming when there will be no more suffering. In heaven, people will enjoy a paradise beyond imagination.God does care. He never promised life would be problem-free, but he promised to be with people.

Easy, he is sparing these little ones the "hell" that is this world. They face very little heartache, little pain, little disappointment, in essence they face very little of what is bad in this world. The people who get the raw end of the deal are the ones left here on this earth and see only there own loss and do not think of the fact that their little one is now in heaven where everything is perfect.

How selfish do we humans have to be in order to ask that God have them give up the perfection of heaven for the imperfection and heartache of this world.

I suppose He is where He always at. Why are you so concerned or do you mean the question as a put-down for ones that believe in God? Again, you have a RIGHT to believe or not just as we have. No one is going to put a gun to your head, in the USA and force you to accept their religious beliefs. (at least not at the present time)

God is always in the equation no matter what happens. Everything happens for a reason. So if you or someone you know had a child that died then it happend for a reason. We don't understand right then why it happend but God will soon show us the reason why it happend.

...Our children are on loan from God as a precious stewardship. Since they are His, He can take them back when He chooses, and every decision rendered by God shows Him right, true, holy, and perfect - He does not make mistakes.
...It is very difficult for those with finite minds (us) to understand and comprehend the infinite, Almighty God.
...Observe these verses from Isaiah 55:
8" For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.
9" For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

...He is more than trustworthy.

receiving them with open arms. If you imply that He is the cause of infants and children dying then you are misguided.

this is a question all people want answers too .
i can only tell you what i believe makes sense to me and my soul .
as an eternal soul and believing in reincarnation i believe these souls [infants ,children ]come down to help with life lessons for the people who's lives they have touched .'
another words they entered into agreement with their karmic group to to this for the love of others so that they[parents siblings etc etc ] might be elevated or enlightened ,,,,to learn things they could not without the horrible suffering of losing a precious child .....
it is so in most of life ,,,until something drastic happens to us we do not fully appreciate what we have .
and without the suffering caused by losing a child or infant how do you think people could learn very difficult life lessons about love and service to others ,,,,very complex ..........
but this is what i believe they are true spirits and souls of love and agree to this ahead of time for the sake of others .

He's nowhere in that equation. He's nowhere in any equation. Why do you believe in god? Real simple. Because your mommy and daddy told you to.
