I need to know how to arrange furniture and place pictures on the wall etc.

You can do a one week trial for 7.99. I did this and saved all of the pictures that really interested me. The only thing bad about that is you have to make sure you go through all of the pictures in one week, and there a LOT of them. I think there is also a six month membership, but I don't remember the cost. It is a great site with lots of good ideas in every style for every room of the house.

Magazines like Home and Garden r Art Deco. U can also try Good Housekeeping. They usually have pics either for articles r for advertisement. U can also go to HG TV and look up certain things on the Designs section. visit their particular sites like Chris Lowell and others. Good luck

there r many things u can do 4 this.
there is the HGTV (home and garden television) channel that is all about decorating. on regular cable it's channel 32. you can also go to www.homeinteriors.com and look for decorating ideas. another website is bhg.com.
you can also get ideas from tv programs and stuff.
