Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. I never walked any where with rollers in my hair, I had to drive a long distance with rollers in my hair though. I could see people looking at me driving down the road. I didn't care.

Goodness - if every person is indignant via hair rollers - i think of they must relax. i do no longer see the way it must be offensive. If it grew to become the kind day after today - all human beings could do it just to slot in! individually, if i become out and that i observed you in public, i could look at you somewhat longer than commonplace - yet basically because of fact very few human beings use air dry rollers anymore. i could be seeking to work out in the event that they are the comparable type that I used 30 years in the past. i could quite like it. i could sense very nostalgic! If definitely anybody has the nerve to declare something to you, in simple terms ask them what it quite is approximately your rollers that bothers them. it is going to in all probability be perplexing for them to enable you understand without looking ridiculously superficial.

Yes if my hair was in curlers and i need to go to the shops, bank, supermarket, etc
I certainly would not hesitate to go out in my curlers if my hair was not dry after all the time and effort that it has taken to put them into my hair
Its good to know that there are other girls out there who appreciate what a good old fashioned roller set can do for our hair
Keep on rolling girls and boys if there are any out there that do it

Susan on Desperate Housewives last week went to the bank in huge curlers with a scarf. It was meant to be a comic scene. (maybe it's taboo because we're not suppose to show our beauty secrets. you know, we all have natural, full gorgeous hair...)
As long as you didn't run into your date or someone you're trying to impress... who cares! The guys who said you were sexy were probably impressed you had the self-confidence to go out in curlers. 'Like I don't care what you think' attitude can be appealing.

JULIE, THE ONLY TIME THAT I HAD TO COVER MY HEAD WAS WHEN I DYED MY HAIR AND IT TURNED OUT HORRIBLE SO I PUT ON A HAT AND WENT INTO ECKERDS AND BOUGHT SOME MORE HAIR COLOR. I WAS SO EMBARRASSED, BUT THAT WAS A GOOD COMPLIMENT THAT PEOPLE GAVE YOU, IT IS NICE TO SEE YOUNG PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF THEIR HAIR AND THEMSELVES.

I give you props for having the courage to go out in rollers. You're braver than me.

Class, this used to be normal when I was a kid. It was something to talk about if a woman went out without her curlers and her hair set......

Girl,
Sometimes you do what you gotta do, If I was in the same position as you, I would have probably did the same thing. I would not have cared what people would have said about me.
