Understand this. Jesus is clearly a myth. Many many people have been aware of this for many centuries.

You have to understand you are born again and a new creature in Jesus but you are also at the same time the sinful old man too. Your sinful old man wants to rule over your born again spirit but you have the Power as a Born Again New Man of God. Like you said, you quit sinning four months ago. Your New Man isn't paying twice for sin. This is an illusion. It is your Old Man that is paying for sins and this comes over onto your the new man. You the new man are paying the price not for what you the new man are doing but for what the old man is doing. So you as the new man are not paying twice for your sins. You paying for what the old man who isn't you anymore is doing. All Christians will have to stand before God's Judgment seat and give account to God for what our old man has done even though our new man is forgiven. This is the Law of God. Life is about being blessed by God for obedience and at the same time being Chastized by God as a son for disobedience. All your life you will be paying for your disobedience because you reap what you sow. You can rejoice not because of the pain but because God is disciplining you as a son not a bastard who has no inheritance in God's Kingdom.
Love, Damon

God forgives, but Mother Nature isn't so easy. I mean, there are Natural consequences for everything we do.
I don't know the particulars of your situation of course. Obviously there are complications that you didn't go into. I appreciate your struggle with God; I often struggle with God myself. Sometimes I think I could run the universe better than God does; but then I have to laugh at myself.

Brother, if you repented, and asked the Lord to forgive you, then he did the moment you asked. We being humans have a hard time forgiving ourselves, and we don't forget so we don't do it again. If your feeling condemnation, that's the enemy of your soul beating you over the head. I don't know what you mean by making you pay twice, that's not God. Read 1John 1:9. In what way are you suffering? If you asked God for forgiveness then you are forgiven. Sounds to me like you haven't forgiven yourself. God says the wages of sin are death. Meaning there is a high price to pay for sin on Earth. If you murder someone you can be forgiven but you still have to do your time. It doesn't get you out of jail.

You ask for forgiveness, you are instantly forgiven, however, you also must learn to forgive yourself. and not go back to what you have been forgiven of. Perhaps you need to stop being so hard on yourself, you should not ask for forgiveness and then keep reliving what you were forgiven for. let it go. And certainly do not go back to what you have repented of, then it is always worse than the first time. I will pray for you, good luck and god bless. and just be patient with yourself.

Jesus paid the price for your sins. All of them. He paid with His life, because He loves you.He asks only that you turn from sin and live His way. When you do that, the price Jesus paid for your sins covers you. If you won't, and insist on living your own way, then YOU will pay for your sins at the Judgement, because you didn't accept Christ's way of life, and therefore you didn't accept His free gift of salvation. If you truly repented, and want Christ to rule and reign in your heart, then you would desire to attend church. You would desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit, as Jesus said to do. When you are truly a Spirit filled Christian, you will not desire those things that made you a sinner, but will desire to be refreshed with the Spirit on a regular basis, and desire to those things that Jesus commanded. Sure it's hard. The Word says 'Strait is the gate and narrow is the path that leadeth to life, and few there be that find it.' You must desire to serve God through Jesus Christ, instead of serving yourself, and things of the flesh. Seek Him with all your heart, and you will find Him. I pray you will find the path to righteousness. God bless you. Pray for Him to heal you, and seek to do His will.

It may not seem like he is listening-he is. He doesn't always answer your prayer the way YOU want it answered. Do not give up on yourself or God. Sin is just a way for God to weed out the truely unworthy. Just because you have a flaw does not make you a bad person. You have to be willing to help yourself sometimes too.

If you repent and ask God to forgive you He will forgive you. Consequences of that sin can still come back to trouble you.

You don't pay for your sin, Jesus already did that. Now you need to accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and take up your cross and follow Him.
And that also doesn't mean life gets any easier, for the worls will hate you for His sake.
