I already know the answer to this. I just asked a question like this in the Gay people section and got Blasted. What do Christians think of my question.

Where in the Bible does it say God created GAY people. Look at Genesis 1:27. God made male and female. Some of those males and females decided to be GAY. It was a decision made by them, not GOD. It's the same as murderers making the decision to kill people. God makes obstacles for everyone to test you. He wants to know if you will continue to follow Him, or if you will give into temptation.

I’d just like to point out one very valuable point... from 1 Corinthians 6: 9, 10 where it talks about who will not inherit God’s Kingdom…the "nor effeminate" part. Effeminate is derived from the Latin word Effeminatus, from past participle of Effeminare which is to make Effeminate- having feminine qualities: untypical of a man: not manly in appearance. Obviously the connotation of this is meaning a man ACTING feminine, and taking on a feminine form. Also, the definition means to be MARKED by an unbecoming delicacy or over-refinement with regard to femininity. We all know that the homosexuals, put themselves on altars when it comes to broadcasting their effeminate qualities. The same goes for the Lesbians that take on masculine traits, and uniform themselves in masculine attire and conduct. Clearly these ones MARK themselves with these un-natural differences in the name of pride. So that is why the bible clearly condemns such practices, and in other translations has rendered "nor men kept for unnatural purposes". These ones cannot rightfully in the name of God call themselves his Christians.

Homosexuals ( I am not using that term in a derogatory sense, but just grouping together the like as a class in separation from those who are not) continue to openly expose themselves in their various manners, deliberately ignoring what God clearly says. Making excuses, taking what they want from the bible, and basing their belief system on that. The problem with the churches is that they have now accepted this condemned practice, and even allowed the marrying of such ones, and people are accepting of this only because it tickles their ears. Society's morals have taken a nose dive, which is a sad state of affairs because as Society’s morals weaken, so too more and more other's minds are being made over by such "acceptance". The thing to remember is this is MAN'S acceptance. Not Gods.

I do not hate Homosexuals, I do not dislike them, it is not up to me to either like or not like them. In the end it is up to God to judge them. Jesus said to Love your neighbour and love your enemy, the same for the Homosexuals. Pray for them, that they will come to their senses, and chose God's way of life rather than giving themselves over to debauchery which has no place in God's Kingdom. God is not wishy washy in the requirements that he has set out for us all.

Remembering that Satan is the one who has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, and who caused sin and wickedness upon this earth since the time of Adam and Eve, and he still continues to use his lying, deceitful, and evil tatics to lure people away from God.

Bottom line, homosexuality is wrong, and there will be severe punnishment for those who do not repent of their sinful course and change their ways....think back to Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot was willing to give up one of his daughters to the Mob of men who were pounding on his door for one of his sons....that city was riddled with homosexuality, and God only found 3 righteous people in that city, Lot, and his two daughters. His wife HAD a chance but she disobeyed and looked back in longing, and was turned to a pillar of salt. Point is, everyone else in that city was deemed unrighteous in God's eyes, and that is why he completely distroyed Soddom and Gomorrah. He will do the same for those who do not submit to his authority and listen to him. In Armageddon, the war of the great day of God the Alimighty. He will rid this earth of ALL unrighteousness, so as to fulfill his original purpose of restoring the earth back to a beautiful peaceful garden, where perfection and righteousness is to dwell. He's giving ample time for people to turn around, if they do not, that is up to them, but ultimately there will be no place for wickedness, deceit, pervertedness, or any type of unrighteousness in God's Kingdom.

I'm sure the answer you "already know" isn't the answer I'm going to give, but the truth should be stated regardless of whether it will receive 'best answer', so here I go.

No. It's not wrong.

What so many Christians and in fact so many others who don't adhere to the Christian faith don't understand is that the Biblical passages concerning homosexuality DO NO refer to loving, committed relationships between two people, and in some instances don't ACTUALLY refer to homosexuals. Sodom and Gomorrah, for example? That admonishes bad hospitality and rape, not homosexuality. Common misconception. Leviticus 20:13? Part of the Holiness Code which has been abandoned; it is no longer binding to modern Christians.

Once again, I know you won't hear this, not REALLY. I could go into greater detail, but I'm sure you don't want to have to scroll past too long of an answer before you give it a thumbs down. If anyone ELSE wants more info, feel free to email me.

The question is "wrong in who's eyes?" People might think that but I seriously think that an all loving, forgiving, compassionate god would hate anyone. People hate gays and they justify their hate by saying that "its what god wants" but people who say this have no idea what god is thinking, how could they say that? IF you think I'm lying I'll give you an example that can prove it.

You know there are people on earth that have compassion toward gays. So are you saying that these people have more compassion than god? If people on earth can be kind and accept others, why wouldn't god be able to? Think about it, if god thinks and acts like people on earth do, we are all seriously screwed.

Depends on your definition of Gay. Gay can mean happy. So a person can be a gay Christian.

When a person confesses Jesus Christ their Lord & believe in their heart the atonement & resurrection, person get's born of God, reborn spiritually. The old man & sins get washed away. The new man in Christ alive forever more. The new man cannot abide in sin (make it a easy habit) because of the Holy Seed within. He will sin, but gets convicted in his spirit & repents and Jesus makes him right.

For example, Christians who try to abide in unforgiveness are miserable. Until they learn how to give it to God.

God loves us while were yet sinners. That is why He sent His One and Only Begotten Son... The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through faith.

B.S. Reason #1: "It's unnatural!" Sure is. So is artificial flavoring. None of you whine about that. -Unlike artificial flavoring, homosexuality is considered an indecent act, and also causes far more bodily harm in the long run. B.S. Reason #2: "It's immoral!" Morality is, overall, guided by the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. To people getting married doesn't hurt anyone. The only way it can rationally be called immoral is by the use of religious exemption- and America may be founded on Christian values, but sheesh, it's not supposed to be a THEOCRACY! If you think gay marriage is wrong because of Leviticus, then just don't get one- don't impose your discriminatory views on the legal system! -Oh, so the AIDS outbreak that so happened to pop up in the 1980s, during the rise in popularity of gay people and gay parades, had no effect on other people. Mmk. B.S. Reason #3: In a same-sex-marriage, since couples are the same gender, they don't learn from each other in the same way that a man ans a woman do. They won't thrive on each other's differences in the way a natural marriage does." That's disputable. Besides, banning gay marriage because of that is like banning R-rated movies because they don't have good "morals." And I doubt that gays are going to change their mind and marry the opposite sex, so why should you boss them around? -We SHOULD ban rated R movies. Have you lost your sense of decency to say that it's okay to watch grossly perpetuated violence and sexual encounters on TV? What ext, it's okay to be nude on TV? B.S. Reason #4: "It'll influence the children!" Yes, oh, God forbid your children be exposed to other views than your own. They might dare to think as individuals when they grow up! What a travesty! There should also be a Heretic Removal Act in order to get rid of those troublesome Muslims, Buddhists and Jews! -Thinking independently? You mean, judging what you think is okay? People are naturally tempted towards selfishness. People thinking independently more often than not end up thinking that only things that are advantageous to themselves and their desires are okay. B.S. Reason #5: "Marriage is so couples can procreate. God intended it that way. A marriage that cannot produce children is not a true marriage!" Yes indeed! I forgot about another law I came up with: The Defence of Fertility Act, which would ban infertile wome from getting married! Oh yeah, and a little bonus for you more progressive Christians out there: "Why not just have something that functions jus like marriage legally but without the actual title! Civil unions will make things equal!" Yes, my good friend. Seperate but equal! -You make no sense. Your attempt at sarcasm only makes you seem more foolish.

I have a very hard time understanding how a religion that supposedly promotes peace and love could possibly breed such hatred among it's followers.

There are plenty of things in the Bible that are sinful, and you have to pick this one to focus on? Do you ever wear polyester, or eat beef? What about wanting more money, or judging others? Wear make-up?

Get over yourself.

First of all being gay is a sin just like the others. Nothing more nothing less. There is never anything wrong with being a Christian in any form.

Romans 1:26-32 " For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. 28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30. Backbiters. haters of God, dispiteful , proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31. Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32. Who knowing he judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

It is not possible to be a gay Christian. This would mean that you the person embraces both their homosexuality (which God calls an abomination Lev. 18:22) and their "Christianity." 1 John 2:4 says that "The man who says 'I know him' (in reference to Jesus) but does not do what he commands is a liar and the truth is not in him."
It is possible to be a Christian who struggles with homosexuality, as all sin is the "...exchanging of the glory of the immortal God for the things of man." (Romans 1:23) As long as the person strives to align that part of their life with God's word they are a Christian struggling with sin just like everybody else.
The difference is in whether or not the person believes that they must change that part of their life.

It breaks my heart to think that a gay person would love Jesus and want to be accepted into the fold, and would be treated like some of these people would treat them because of their sexuality. It's a sin to be that hateful and bigoted in my eyes. Don't you think that if they wanted to be a Christian, then they are worthy of a chance? It would be between them and Jesus and/or God, wouldn't it? This behavior makes me glad that I'm not longer a Christian. It's disgusting. It makes me wonder why any gay person would want any part of a religion that is like this.

This is a challenging question. If we are all Gods children and he doesn't make mistakes. How can being Gay be wrong?

I have a theory that the earth is becoming overpopulated and this is his way of leveling out the population.

Does that make sense to anyone else?
