I recently had a discussion with some girls that thought one could only lose their virginity through vaginal intercourse and that those other things didn't count and I want to know how many people agree with them. If you do, answer this: If gays only have sex with each other, are they virgins too? And if a guy has only had anal sex with another girl, is he still a virgin? Is he if they have oral sex?

Never really thought about it. I guess the girl is not 'pure' anymore so technically is not a virgin. Good question. Has me thinking.

No, that's bull. Oral sex is sexual in nature, but it is not intercourse. If a girl has or gives oral sex it doesn't mean she's not a virgin. It just means she's had or given oral sex. In order for a girl not to be a virgin anymore, she needs to have sexual intercourse which would theoretically break her hymen (which can also be broken by playing sports, riding horses and some girls just don't have them) thereby breaking her "maidenhead" and taking her virginity. There needs to be actual insertion of a penis in there to take her virginity. For guys, I guess it's debatable and what your definition of sex is because they don't break anything, they just kind of stick it in. I would say that yes, he's still a virgin, he's just had oral sex. Where things get sticky - no pun intended - is when you get in to anal etc. Not that it's commonplace, but I would say that can be qualified as a cherry-popping act, but others may not. That's really sad that he did that in sixth grade. Sixth graders should be focused on school and friends and sports and the opposite sex just coming in to the picture.

According to my understanding if a man reaches orgasm after penetrating in vagina or anal, he is not virgin anymore. A girl can only lose virginity if something goes in her vagina and not in anal, then she is no more virgin. Some people says that if a woman don't do sex for about 6 months, a little blood will still comeout of her vagina after penetrating, even then she is not a virgin but I will definately suppose that she is a virgin/

The answer is: You are a virgin until you have sex. If she has sex orally, if she has sex anally, she's a virgin until she has vaginal penetration to include rupturing the hymen...at that point she is no longer a virgin

sex is sex, wither it's anal, oral or vaginal sex

virginity is a concept that society has created, not a phyical state of being but a mental

there are some changes to a woman after vaginal sex such as perhaps bleeding for the first time but we are talking about the mentality of intercourse, not the technicalities

well, if we are to discuss about "physical" virginity, then i think you only lose your virginity if the hymen is torn through penetration of the vag... but what i really think is when a person has not had any experience in ANY sexual act that involves another person, then we can still consider them as VIRGINS...

of course she's still a virgin. you only loose your virginity when you have penetrating vaginal intercourse. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. look in any health books at the REAL term of virginity.

technically the woman would be a virgin because her hymen is intact but any sex whether anal oral or vaginal is still sex.

Yep she can have miles of pipe laid up the pooper and have drank quarts of the white stuff but if she has not had penetrative vaginal sex with a Penis..she is still a Virgin (loads of religious girls and women do this to remain "pure" for the wedding night"

The guy cant be a virgin anymore after doing it anal...

...the girl is still a "vaginal" virgin... but certainly not a butt virgin anymore.
