how can i firm up my lower stomach and make it flat?

lie flat on your back and do leg lifts. this a great excersie for that.
you can really feel it.
(you lift your legs together at the same time) one leg does not do it.

there's this one thing my coach makes us do at swim practice:

lay down flat on your back...
make sure your legs are straight...
lift them up and start kicking up and down for about 30 seconds

take a break for 15 seconds...and repeat this three more times.

do a low carb, low fat diet
aerobics workout
keep record of what you eat and workout done , can see your progress

You can't spot reduce, meaning you can't target your abdomen if you want to lose fat in your abdomen. Lose weight and your stomach will appear.
