Two eggs a day will have enough cholesterol to put you over the daily recommended amount. You can cut this out by removing part of the yolk and using the whites. Increasing amounts of research shows that eating an egg or two a day will not raise your cholesterol levels. This is because most blood cholesterol is made by the body from dietary fat not dietary cholesterol.
Eggs provide a more powerful source of muscle building protein than any other food. They also contain vitamin B12 which aids fat breakdown.

figured it was my duty to inform you guys of this. As much as I like eggs, they're actually not very good for you at all. They are extremely high in cholesterol (possibly the single largest source of it), and the protein that they contain isn't very usable by the human body. Furthermore, the sulfur in eggs, and the amino acids that they contain are very harmful to the body in a number of ways.

I've known about this for some time now, after hearing more than one teacher talk about it at school. There's a good article here that goes over some of the basics of the problems. Just ignore all the BS about the "evil egg industry". The egg industry has nothing to do with my taste for them.

I'm not saying that everyone should cut them out of their diet completely, just go easy on them.

No, there was once a school of thought which said the cholesterol in eggs was bad for you. Whilst too much cholesterol is bad, it is now accepted that cholesterol in food passes through the body as it cannot process it.

Food stuffs which cause your body to produce cholesterol should still be kept to a minimum.

Eggs are a very good fast food

I think about 5 eggs a week is reccommended. They are quite fatty but as long as you don't have a lot of other unneccesary (ie loadsa animal fats and cheese) saturated fats in your diet you'll be fine. But organic free range, as they are less likely to have selmonella, be fertilised (even tho this is illegal I have seen them) and the chickens aren't fed on antibiotics and pish. They are also happier chickens behaving as they should.

Eggs are one of nature's perfect foods.

Yes, they contain a little cholesteral, but now the "experts" say it ain't so bad. Eggs are full of protein which bodies desperately need.

So, in answer to your question, no eggs are not bad for you in moderation...just don't go eating a dozen of 'em a day.

Anything in excess is 'bad'.
Eggs are high in protein, vitamins, and minerals, low in fat and carbohydrates.
Most folks body naturally produces more cholestrol than you eat. Excess does not accumulate, it is excreted.
How do you eat your eggs? Boiled, poached, fried, scrambled?
What else do you eat with your eggs?
How is your overall diet, what else do you eat?

3-5 eggs per week is probably OK.

eggs are fine unless you have an allergy or intolerance to them. egg yolks are actually easier for your body to digest thatn the whites are and it is more common to be allergic or intolerant to the whites only.
Free range eggs are the best, as the chickens that produce them are healthier and not under stress and therefore the eggs will be a lot healthier

I read recently some dietician say that people who eat eggs for breakfast eat fewer calories as eggs are so feeling. Can't be a bad thing.
