By wearing a veil you are cutting others of from interacting with you as facial expressions are an important part of being a human. You are preventing people from being able to relate to you, yet you seem surprised that people treat you differently, why the surprise? the hijab is also intrusive admitably it is not as bad as a veil, but it is still part of the same phenomenon. Please don't sat god wants it, if god wanted it he would have given you a veil by birth

The problem is not one of being treated as a human, it is that women wear the veil, not men.
Why?
Doesn't that place women in a very subservient, strange position?
However, Muslim people are not the only religion to treat women in this strange way. Orthodox Jewish women must never show their hair. And there are plenty of other cultural differences in India, Japan, etc. etc. where women's dress does not allow certain aspects of Western dress.
Is this truly "religion" or is it a way of keeping women "in their place"?
I say it is completely out of date in today's world to treat women as second-class citizens. This includes stoning them to death for adultery.

For your information the hijab is NOT restricting..
I like to wear it because ...
1)It protects my hair from the rain and the wind..
2)I never have to worry about another 'bad hair' day again!
3)In the summer it protects me from skin cancer
4)In the winter it keeps my head warm
5)I enjoy wearing pretty headscarfs on my head..I can try on lots of different colours to match my mood instead of just sticking to my black hair:-)))
6) And I get a lot of respect by wearing hijab

Hey, woman have to cover them selves do you think any woman would like it if men were staring at her body and everything. Even a non-muslim woman wouldn't like that. ANd if you still think that you are a damn freak of nature with no mind yourself, you *** bitchey jerk. You have no right to say that about what a women wears. You are a freak of nature and on the ressuraction day may God not forgive you, for saying these mad comments to muslim women and about muslim women, did I ever hurt your religon!!!!! Why do nuns cover themselves, oh i think they want to show offf, no they do it for religon. Do you make fun of nuns ,no, then why u say that about me and my religon. The veil doesn't cover the eyes so it doesn't matter. The eyes are the windows to the soul.

Look when we wear hijab or viel it protects us from lots of dangers...let me give u an example like in Saudi Arabia it is a strict law for women to do hijaab and look very low crime rates for rape...and in other countries who r not strict for hijaab have many high crime rates for rape....Allah dont want we women to show our bodies to others and to be treated like dogs...we should hide ourselves we r not dogs we r humans...

In there countries women are made to cover up so here they should be made to wear normal clothes.
