Recently I overtrained my back in the gym. I have not lifted for a week, and still feel sore and exhausted. Has anyone ever had this problem, and what did you do to recover? I did the cold and hot water thing and still hurts

I AM NOT A DOCTOR I am a certified personal trainer but if your back still hurts after a week and it doesnt feel as if its muscle pain if it feels deeper than that.............you should be seen by a physician and also check your form when working out. Make sure you are sure of what your doing.
Best of luck!

It sounds like you might have a herniated disc. This can typically take 2 -6 weeks to heal, but this will depend on how severe the damage is.

i wouldnt say overworking them undesirable sufficient t harm the growth yet i could pass legs , then top physique, then relax day and repeat that with an abs day after each and every 2 segments so pass legs/upperbody/relax/(repeat)/abs this provides you with a mild workout consultation yet could enable your physique to take a seat down back sufficient. additionally ensure you maintain stretching its rather sturdy on your muscle groups, youll discover they improve greater dense and efficient. sturdy luck bro im doing that categorical same ordinary and its been working properly

If it's been a week I would already have seen a doctor. No way for us to tell not knowing where it hurts and other information.

What you didn't tell us is whether you have done any sauna and stretching.
