So, I met a guy. He's nice and hasn't come on to me yet, he seems great, what signs can I look for to see if he's a decent guy or a jerk pretending to be a decent guy

you have to watch your mind , don't treat him according to any thought in your mind , you just be who you are , say what you feel , and then you will know more about him by time and by the situations you're facing together , words are cheap , wait till it's time to take an action and see how hes responding ...and never judge by appearance

have a conversation with him.. u can pretty much tell if a gay is decent or not by just having a 5 min convo with him

see how he treats other people and how he acts like if he does pot or drugs hes not that good of a guy but just go eith your instincts for now

well if he bullies ppl then hes mean but trust me dont trust what you see i whent out with a guy because he seemed real nice when i chated with him for like 10min but i NOW know that he is a devil so dont trust what you see or hear!

try inviting him in some of your activities. try to investigate through his friends. you might not be that interesting to start with.
