I have just visited the Redhat website and I wanted to download a copy of Linux OS. The site recommended using BitTorrent.

When I visited the page, I found there is a long list of torrent files there.

May I know which file do I need to download? Or which group of files?

After downloading, how do I use it/them to install the Linux OS?

Its kind of confusing. Can you please explain it explicitly? Thanks.

The web for the torrent files is http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/ .

dont install over windows xp just run suse linux from the dvd( cd)

SUSE Linux 10.1 Live version

SUSE makes the live version of SUSE Linux available for download as an ISO image. This version runs entirely from the bootable DVD and is not installed on the hard disk.

If you want to get to know SUSE Linux or test if your hardware is fully supported, the live version is the right choice for you.

Download the live DVD ISO image here.
