Many reasons..It might start out as a physical attractions that turns into admiring everything about the person.You just like everything about that person to the point where you fall in love.It could also be how someone treats you too..Or how they make u feel..You'll know it when it comes your way.

Because we where created out of love, not just by our parents but by GOD... and our whole point on this Earth is to love... each other and to love GOD too...
Yes falling in love with a guy / girl is tough because we are all humans and we make mistakes. But sometimes we find someone who loves us back and makes us happy for the rest of our lives... you know happy marriage...
Well, just remember when we love GOD, He will love us back no matter what we do, kind of like a happy marriage for eternity!

because they do not know how to rise in love like budha , kabir, farid ,rahim , rabia, buleshah, mansoor, socrates,mahaveer ETC.the love, to which perhaps you are reffering, is not love. that love is just driven by some biological factor i.e. sex only. no need to cover your sexual desires by the name of love.
