I live in Michigan as well.
Have you considered taking pictures before the ceremony?
If you don't want to see each other, the photographer could take bridal portraits and pics of you and the bridesmaids.

what you could do is have your photographer at your house while you and the girls are getting ready. As each one gets ready you can do the photoshoot in your living room. Those are the best pictures because its grabbing the moments before the actual wedding. That is whati did for mine. Myhusband was at his moms house getting ready so it worked out perfect. He took pics as i came down my stairs on my porch and into my limo and all the flower girls and bridesmaids. It was really pretty. I wish you the best of luck on your wedding day. Any more info just hit me up on yahoo. :)

Just glad you are keeping with tradition. I also think it's silly when people have their wedding pictures taken before the ceremony - you will always know those pictures were done when you weren't married!

Take half of the pic's at the church and the other half at the reception area. Congratulations and lots of luck.

I suggest that you try to squeeze in more time to take photos of your wedding. Photos are important and should be kept as memories of your wonderful day.
