don't go to bars where people are just trying to pick you up, do something where people share an interest like an evening class or join a sports club, then you can socialise without any pressure and hopefully find someone nice (and make new friends!)... then ask them out! I met my girlfriend playing volleyball at uni...

I don't like them dating sites they are mostly all fat or ugly. and the bar or club you get guys that just want 1night or are alcoholics, the gym,grocery store,work,coffee shop should have descent guys.
