In my younger days I used to love Mississippi Steamer, which was a blend of bourbon, lemon juice, orange juice and white wine (I think). I also drank Amaretto, Cherry B and Brandy and the usuals - Diamond White, 20-20, Thunderbird and so on. What drinks were your favourites and remind you of your younger years?

Sorry, don't think I was very clear. I meant alcoholic drinks that remind you of when you first started drinking (you remember the really bad hangovers when you mixed all the different drinks). I'm thinking back about 12 years or so to the clubbing nights and decent music being played in pubs when you dare go out without getting attacked and everyone just wanted a great night. Sounding old now.

Thunderbird was the first drink i ever got drunk on when i was 12 or so. And diamond white is just pure evil and will make you feel like devils-death. I had a good night on 20-20 once in a park in bath. But my fave is probably just wine, lager or vodka the same as i drink today.

When i was at college and had very little money I used to drink cider Cos it was cheap. Back then half a merrydown or strongbow was about 60p. Also pink lady was great. I used to think it was like drinking champagne. Was only about £1.50 a bottle. Those were the days. Im pleased to say nowadays I can afford to drink real wine & spirits.

Snakebite and black was my fave too. Also liked lager and lime and Diamond White. I can still remember passing out one Christmas Day after 4 bottles of Diamond White. Not cool.

As a teenager I loved Pepsi in bottles with salted peanuts in it.
Then I moved to highballs, Black Russians, now I am a firm Balentine Scotch and water person. And Miller Lite occasionally.

As a kid: mouthful of cheesy wotsits followed by ice cold milk then mush it all up.
Teenager: cheap cider sitting on tree with my mate nick
Older teenager: pernod and blackcurrant or snakebite
Now: lager-top and a nap!

I loved Cherry 7UP. Me and my brother and 2 sisters used to be the 7UP gang (lol). My brother being the oldest would have regular 7UP, my older sis would drink Diet Cherry 7UP, I would have regular Cherry 7UP, and our younger sister would have Diet 7UP. We thought we were so cool whenever our parents said we could choose a can of pop to drink, we would always get these 7UPs, what a blast we would have. Those were the good old days!! I always remember drinking Diamond White and Kays cider as a kid. Disgusting really. Also loved (and still do) Red stripe
