Trim the bottom of the stem regularly, underwater preferably so that no air gets into the stem. A little sugar in the water will also help. Always use this method when putting roses in a vase.

>> add EITHER 1 teaspoon of sugar or 1/4 -1/2 cup of lemonade to the water. This keeps cut flowers fresher for longer. Hope this helps. Ciao!

best solution
put a fever tablet in it. Crush it a bit (not 2 much) and put it the water which is in the vase.
believe me its works like magic
this method can also be used to bloom a flower which may have been broken off just before it bloomed
enjoy....
