i see some muslims wearing the same clothes but not covering their face, instead they have a white veil over their hea. isnt it illegal to show your face in islam?

yah women are only suppose 2 cover their hands, hair, n all but not the face its their choice only the engaged r married women if by the order of their husbands or fiance den dey have 2 do it..

There is no where in the Qur'an that states women have to cover their face. Just the hair, neck, chest and provocative parts of the body. Some women choose to cover their face for personal reasons, some are under cultural pressure.

personal preference. covering of the face is not required by islam, but many women choose to cover thier faces because they like the privacy it gives them.
one might also ask: why do some christian women wear only long skirts and others do not?

To be closer to Allah. I truly have had a pair of marriage proposals the place a guy instructed me i might "have" to placed on niqab after marrying them, yet I fairly plenty basically instructed them to stuff it. I don't have something against Niqab, yet I truly have each and every thing against being compelled to placed on it.
