Informs them to call the police A.S.A.P., but had no response from the police untill following day.We are only about 15 mi. from where a mother was stabbed and left for dead by intruder and her 7 day old baby kidnapped one month ago.Four years ago a 11yr old boy shawn hornbeck disappeared and has never been found .What are you to do when you cannot count on the county police to serve and protect our community The school also failed to inform parrents of the situation. But if there is a anomous call about drugs or theft around here there is not only this county but two or three other counties here within minutes Do we get no response because there is no money to be made when if they find a pedophile creeping around a school or a child who has disappeared without a trace. Help Us out here before we lose another family member or friend

It sounds like you need to contact your local newspaper and tv and radio news bureau's. That is the only way to put pressure on public officials

I live not far from where the kidnapping took place and am familiar with your circumstances. You should not only contact media in the area, you should also start a community awareness campaign. Let local churches get involved and make it a huge organized situation. We have had several occurences of school violence and lock downs in our area, and the media has picked it up and run with it. You can get them to do the same. I wouldn't doubt that the local law enforcement is overwhelmed there and just have not found the time and resources to help you. Don't let that stop you from getting help. I'm sure you are already keeping an eye on your children and family. Keep your doors locked and your children as secure as possible. OMG, thats horrible the best thing to do is keep writting letters to the police department, and emails, and if you can do your best to get the media from a local news station to come out and do a story, it may be hard but well worth the effort. Also you could start by posting flyers on telephone polls or around town warning people about this guy. The police should be helping file police reports

whilst am shocked to be honest am not that surprised [ish] I assume you are the bus driver..............is there ANY way that you an take a pic of this person..............and when you call the police ask for an immediate response due to the safety of the children and you would HATE to be the one to have to explain to the parents of child that saw this that you as a police man did NOT do his job..IF the school is not taking this seriously then you have to go above their heads and go to the board of governors as well as the local school board.

Is there anyway that a group of parents can band together and help police the area.........I dont mean vigilantes, just ensure that NO ONE is spying on the kids, watching or doing what you say was happening..............also I would consider getting local news crews involved...they LOVE those..the police did NOT come stories, especially when its the kids involved.

Find the nearest big media outlet and give them the story... Include names places schools and everything. Do it online too. Post blogs and forums and stuff and dont be confidential about it. the community will hate that it's out in the open, and theyll rush to save their asses from the public eye. but dont ever stop doing it either. community awareness stuff within the township is also good tell them to do the same... **** like this makes me sick to my stomach cos them little towns probably ain't got nothin' in the way of money for the big investor types so they ignore it. ignorance and censorship and privacy is a tool don't let em use it at all. good luck
