so now here you are finding yourself liking this guy. nothing wrong with that. i think that you should talk to your friend and tell her that you are beginning to like this guy and that he also likes you. and that you would like to go out with him but that she is your friend and you don't want to hurt her or lose her friendship,by going out with this guy. ask her if it would bother her in any way if you did. now remember one thing she might say no that wont bother me at all, but she is your friend so by now you should be able to read between the lines with her. so when she is telling you it wont bother her read her body language. it might be telling you something different. and if it does then don't go out with him. boyfriends will come and go but friends are forever. good luck

Ask your friend if she'd be okay with it. If she is then by all means try just as long as there are no hard feelings between the two of them. I had this one girlfriend and we stopped seeing each other she pretty much left me hanging. Well she was making "eyes" at my best friend and he just shrugged her off and told me "After what she did to you i wouldn't even want to try. It's not worth it."

Now that's loyalty.

i would say it depends on alot of info, how long has it been since your friend dated him? How long did they actually date? And more importantly are they perhaps just having a little break? I f it has been a while since they went out, and they did not date for more than a few months i would say go for it. Your friend will only get mad if she is immature.

Well I would ask your friend if she would be jealous. No friend is worth losing over some guy...

absolutely, life's too short, even if she did like him, it's his decision. if he likes you and you like him that's all that matters. if she's your friend she should be happy for you.
