you don't need a passport within the European Union countries. they have this alternative type of ID which isn't quite a passport, but it's only valid within the EU. outside the EU you need a passport. also, if you're not a european, you need a passport to travel from say, france to germany.

People need ID to travel within Europe and if you're non-European you still need to show a passport. Do you really have a point here?

you will not in all probability prefer your passport as quickly as you're interior Mexico as long as you reside in Mexico. inns could ask for it yet they could be positive in case you had different identity and a credit card. the only reason a lodge is finding for identity is that in case you check out and take the television with you, they only prefer to have the potential to hide themselves. they don't prefer your passport for that. enormously not likely which you would be asked for identity at a place that serves alcohol yet they could be positive with a image identity, like a drivers license. i don't comprehend if it may be extra handy or not yet once you're staying in the comparable place for a on an identical time because it extremely is extremely helpful to ascertain in case you have got your passport dropped on the closest US embassy or consulate and p.c.. it up there. i don't comprehend if that's accessible whether it may shop the step of having your mom mail it to you. i think of it may be properly worth asking besides.
