The LyreBird if a jungle bird that makes the most incredible sounds. When my husband showed me this video I about fell over with amazement. It can mimic not only sounds of other birds, but chainsaws, cameras, car alarms, etc. You will be blown away.

The Cardinal. It's a very pretty shade of red and it's the State Bird of Virginia where I was raised and also the state Bird of North Carolina where I currently live. Plus, they are so pretty in the white snow outside. I feed them, well, all birds, all year long.

The western Meadowlark. There call is real distinct and long and sounds like they are saying "my baby is a pretty little baby". I lived in Idaho for a long time and they were abundant there, and when ever I would travel, I knew I was getting close to home when I could hear the Meadowlarks.

T-bird. She's an old car (86'), but still flys. I still have to scrape VW bugs off my windshield.
