Don't feel bad about not telling her. She will figure it out eventually, and when she inquires just be upfront and tell her you didn't know how to approach it with her. Good luck.

Oh, this is a tough one as I don't have much experience, but here goes.
I gather you are still pretty young and quite scared in telling your mum for fear of what she is going to say. That's pretty understandable.
I guess you really have to find that right, special time to tell her.
The more you put it off, the more anxious you are going to become and the more nervous you will be in telling her.
If she is a very understanding mum, she will listen to you.
She may or may not accept your way of life, but hopefully she will respect you for it and accept you just as you are.

I don't want to dis-respect your feelings, but if you are a very young person, I am wondering if your feelings may change.
I know you probably have heard this before but growing up can bring these feelings about, especially when your hormones are going nuts!! Sometimes it can be perfectly normal to feel an attraction for both.

If you really want to tell your mum, you have to build up the courage to do so.
Why not firstly try writing down what you feel and how you are going to tell her. I know it's not going to be hard.
Tell her that you were frightened and scared and that's why you havn't shared it with her before(years ago).
Maybe you could say, "i wasn't sure if i was really bi and had to wait and see"
Be yourself.. Be honest and truthful and hopefully she will understand.
Good luck!! Maybe let us know how you go.

How old are you? Being bi is not the end of the world. Keeping something like that from your mom is not an evil thing.
Get back to me if you want to talk. Try IM OK?

Well, it seems you really need to tell her and it's eating you up if you don't. Either just come out with it.... hard as it is... just SAY it... or if you just can't get the words out, maybe you could actually write a letter explaining your feelings to her and that you didn't know how to say it. Sounds weird, but any way you can get it out and tell her what needs to be told works! It's just another way of opening the door so that you CAN talk about it with her. Good luck!

this is always a hard thing for anyone. i think that i would just sit down with your mother alone. and tell her, just come out with it. and allow your mom to feel what ever way she needs to feel about what you just told her. she may even blame herself, and you have to assure her there is no blame that this by any means has anything to do with how she raised you.{because its not} she will have alot of different feelings and thoughts going on inside her. allow her the time to cope with them. but remember no matter what you do in life your mother will always love you and be there for you. also don't get angry about her reaction, remain calm and work through it with her. you both will need that.

Don't feel bad for not telling her.I'm a mom and if my kid told me that I would be really worried.I would rather not know. So look at it as one less problem that your mom has to deal with...At least until you find someone that you know you are committed to.good luck

if she's anything like my mom she won't understand (i'm not bi) but if i was wow, would she freak. But that doesn't matter, you are who you are and your mom should love you no matter what right. she'll get used to it and if she doesn't too bad for her, there are lots of people that will. good luck

I would suggest just sitting her down and explain to her the situation. I mean a mother will love you no matter what. Just be proud of who you are and she will be also.
