is it possible to have entries removed from your credit file? Such as defaults, searches or ccj's? I live in the uk.

go to www.creditexpert.co.uk and u can view and update your report for free for 30 days. Aint sure about everythink but ya can get certain things removed. defaults stay on 4 6 years but i dont think they really matter if ya have paid them off. good luck

no the credit bureau should drop after 7 to 10 years but they are on your recvd till that time unless you have a solid proof that is was the company's error...

only if you challenge the accuracy of the report through an agency ... many bad reporters will not respond to challenges and they will be removed.
