As you might have noticed that most of the men who aimed thier lives towards serving of mankind were/ are having beards .
perhaps for the simple reason that they had/ have no time for such things and thier first love was/ is serving humenity.
Thats why Jesus [pbuh] didnt have to shave.It was not required of him.
His destiny was already written. He had to lead the mankind , to serve it, to guide it, to show light to the world.
The kings and the govt officials of his time though used to shave.
Note, I am a Muslim....

Actually yes he did. He was also the inventor of the norelco electric razor . Although it was a little before its time, as rechargable batteries and electrical outlets wernt invented yet. It wasnt untill the 20th century before his invention really took off and made millions.Though seldom photographed, ironically the photos you speak of, were taken of him while he was camping up in the sequoias and obviously hadnt shaved in a few days.

No, Jesus didn't ever shave, but he did have excellent oral hygiene!
What kind of dumbass question is that??!? How would we ever know if he shaved or not? Do you REALLY believe all those paintings were painted when Jesus was alive?
And, yeah, pink_girl, they DID have instruments for shaving.

honestly,we don't honestly know what Jesus looked like... we can only guess. so those pictures are based off of the historical styles, and not necessarily a biblical stand point.
he probably had a beard though.

Jesus is also pictured as being white - sometimes even blonde. Jesus was probably middle eastern, and Jewish.

i don't think he shaved because at that time they didn't have machines for shaving
