Now that im aware that theres a woman living inside of me, the thr
ill seems to be fading away, its like chasing a dream and catchin
g up with it? At first my feelings and emotions was at its highest
peak, when i first found out about this woman. After awhile things
started to get less and less in the feelings and emotions area. Now
it feels like this lady is just barely there? Dont get me wrong by thin
king that this is something that i made up? Wait until its your time
to testify about something that you dont understand, and see how
much sense you make? I know that the feelings and emotions, the
pain and agony, the suicide tendicies, the depression, the mood swings, the many moments of loneliness and confusion, and not k
nowing who or where to turn to for help? All these things and much
much more is very real and frightning? I pray that none of you or yo
ur loveones will never face this situation. and think that you have th
e answers that you alone needs?

I HAVE been there & it is pure hell. I am a manic-depressive & have experienced all the feelings you have described above. I found help w/ a very good phychiatrist & therapist. I am on 3 types of phych meds & another that I take when needed(zyprexa, lamictal (sp?), & valium as needed...was on zoloft also but no longer take it, but must monitor myself very closely as it helps with depression & suicidal feeling...do not wish to go there again). If you have not already, please seek medical advice & help. You do not have to go through this. It is a disease just as is any other type of disease... diabetes for example (which I also am). It is a chemical imbalance in the brain & is treatable. Just as other parts of the body get sick, so does the brain, which if everyone would check out is scientifically & medically true. We no longer live in an unenlightened age. It is nothing to be ashamed of, any more so than any other illness, be it heart, lung, thyroid, kidneys or whatever.
There is a lot of stigma with this type of disease, a lot of misinformation, prejudice, etc, which I and others who are there & have been there are working to combat. Do not worry what others say. Do what is right for you, you will get better & to heck with what other people think. YOU are the one who is important.
PS...there are lots of well known people who suffer or have suffered from this. Others who have suffered from this & have overcome it now create programs to help others & travel nationally to present new info & programs to help with a whole new system of thinking. There are advocates who press for better understanding among leaders of local, state & national levels. Two such people are Sheri Meade & Mary Ann Copeland who do this (They have been there...Big Time). They may have a web site you can check out. If not, go to Nami.com (National Alliance for the Mentally ill).
One person the other day told me he did not consider me as mentally ill. My reaction was, " Yeah, well you didn't know me when"...The reason he does not so consider me as such is that I take the Meds prescribed, as prescribed & follow up by doing what is good for me. My survival & peace of mind depend on that.
So-o-o, hope this helps. If not, maybe it will help someone else.
Take care of yourself & look forward to a brighter tomorrow. Much love, Nala

What you felt was not unique. Many people have the same upswing of emotions. The primary culprit is our ego. We think that we are the centre stage of human life. When there is a percieved danger to our ego the emotions start piling up. This is the reason that when people say something about us we get charged emotionally. But if we really look at the event, whatever other say about us does not really affect our physical self.Others say unkind thing to us to hurt us and we succumb to these.
Only way to get rid of the emotions is to detach ourselves from the ego sense. We should consider ourselves as witness rather than being a defendant. Build up confidence about ourself and whatever anybody says about us should not get us worried or affected.
It is by constant practice only that we can attain the degree of confidence to control our mind. Till than our mind will torture us with emotions whenever possible.

Answer 6 was very good. Read it carefully. A wise man once told me that if somebody is saying something to me and I am bothered by it, I have two choices: If the words are true, accept it and be thankful that you had the courage to look. If they are untrue, dismiss them as such, and the bother is gone. Where we get into trouble, is when denial keeps us from accepting what is true. It is denial that takes so much energy and causes so much stress. It is caused by fear of the truth. Like the famous quote, "Truth will set you free." And the truth is always found within.

Mood is based on chemical levels within a living organism. It is bound to fluctuate, like electrolyte levels or sugar levels or anything else chemical in a living organism.
Hang with the wave is all I can say. You can conquer it.
Good luck.

We don't, that is to say I don't, and you shouldn't either, only insecure gullible putzes worry about what others say, and one must learn to control their emotions. "Feelings" as you call them, are negative thoughts generated by people that lack stability and self-confidence, thus people that allow their so-called "Feelings" to be hurt, are overly sensitive little sissies.

sounds to me as though your emotions aren't going up and down but rather side to side. Have you been abducted by space aliens lately?
