Nothing stops you from dragging files back from your computer into your SD card. This is assuming you still have it in the computer. If you deleted off the card without copying it first, you may need to try one of the recovery tools.
Remember the SD card is no different than a floppy disk or an external drive, you can read it and write to it outside of whatever program you use to pull your photos out of the card.

My friend get a program called Image Recall, this program is outstanding and cheap, on ebay around $10, at best buy or circuit city around $55, it will be able to bring back images that you have deleted even after a few times, the reason why I say its good is because I once deleted the pictures of the whitesox parade and even after taking pics on the same card and deleting pics i was able to bring back, pics are stored on a media in layers so when you erase you are basically creating a new layer to take pics, hence your card says the number of pics it is ready to take, even though you format the card image recall brings it back, the only way one can destroy all the images in a card or any card, be it memory stick, compact flash, sd, mmc, etc is basically to flush it down the toilet, and thats the truth.

you have to use a card reader/writer device in order to copy all files back to your SD card.
