How do I transfer favorite links to a new computer?

First of all, there are two ways to do it. There is a favourites folder in your hard drive. If you are using Windows 95 -> ME, it is in the c:/windows/desktop folder. Just copy the favourities folder onto a flash drive and then paste it into where the favourites folder is on the new computer.

If you are using Windows XP, it is in the c:/documents and settings/Administrator folder.

Another way to do it:

With internet explorer open, click on file, then import and export. Choose *export favourites* and click next and name the file. Then you can save this file onto a flash drive. When you have internet explorer open on the other computer, click file, then import export and choose *import favourites* this time. Choose your flash drive when it asks you where to import from.

If you are referring to Internet Explorer, then there is a favorite folder you can transfer to your new pc. This folder is located on your c drive in the documents and setting folder. Underneath this directory will be your logon id. Go to this folder and you should see the favorite folder.
