I had this calling to adopt Christine as my confirmation name so I'm wondering if it's a Saint's name as a cathecist told me the confirmation names have to be that of a Saint's. I've searched and there seems to be signs of this name as a Saint's name but it doesn't seem to be as well-known as others like Theresa and Rita and so on. What should i do?

Saint Christine exists, she was a martyr in Tyros around 200 AD, so both churches should have her as a saint. At least in the orthodox church her memory is celebrated on July 24th. But even if the catholics don't have her, it is a name that comes from Christ, so it is totally christian.
I checked it out, it is a saint for catholics too, look at this site:

How can you have a calling to change your name...never heard of that before. I think their is a male saint that works for all the Chris, Christine, etc.. names. Just like St. John is also for the name Joanna. I know because we celebrate name days when our saint died.

well ask your priest and he will tell you. Confirmation is Awesome! My saint's name is Peter, and on confirmation, you can actually feel the holy spirit entering your soul, it is truly an amazing experience!
