When you're sore, what's better? To put a freezer pak(ice bag) in th sore area, or a heating pad on the sore area?

Depends why you're sore. If it's muscle soreness then use a heat pack, if it's caused by trauma and swelling use an ice pack.

If it's recent put ice on it. If it is old like one day or more, then put heat on it. Ice is used mostly for keeping the swelling down. Heat is used to bring the soreness out.

It all depends on the pain. Sometimes Ice is better and sometimes heat. I have a heat pack on for my sore muscles in my back, but if it is a trauma pain, like falling or tripping, use an ice pack.

Well it depends whats sore, whether its a joint or a pulled muscle. If it's a joint don't use anything cold, its seriously bad for your bones, bones need warmth if their sore including teeth. If its a muscle then use something cold to numb it a little bit and don't put any pressure on it.

some times it's good to alternate ice and heat. you want to be carefull with heat because it can cause swelling. the best thing is to talk to a health care professional.

well if you excersized, do the same thing you did the day before dont ice it if you ice thenyour a baby. if its just sore because another reason then ice it.
