WOW! This happened to me just the other day, my 2 year old wrote on my tan suede couch and I like you turned to the internet for help, here is what I found..
If you use regular rubbing alcohol with a white cloth (has to be white so you dont transfer color) and rub it on the area where the ink is, it will literally come off like chalk on a chalk board, I know sounds to good be be true, but it really did work for me. Best of luck!

OUCH! Is it really suede or faux? Big difference.. real suede you have to buy suede cleaner (sold anywhere that sell leather and kmart places normally carry it)and it's going to be hard to get it out. What type of pen was it? Sometime if you call the company they might be able to tell you want brakes down the ink. But with real suede- it's going to be hard.

Hair spray with a white cloth or rubbing alcohol with a white cloth. I would also look into some kind of guard to protect your furniture. Ask the sales rep where you purchased your furniture from as to what to use for protection of disasters.

... test rubbing alcohol on it. i'd test a small spot ... pick up a cushion and test on a small spot on the inside of the couch... as i don't know how it will be on suade... but i KNOW it works on ink!

depend on the color or the couch and the color of the ink really, try ink remover or warm soapy water, dont rub to hard though, you may damage it more

I doubt you will ever get it out...who allowed her to have the pen in the first place...or who was negligent in leaving a pen where a small child could get to it?

True hairspray and blot with a paper tissue, a soft one. It will come out magically.
Those little ones are clever and quick!
